Human Security Research highlights 12 significant human security-related reports and articles released by university research institutes, think-tanks, governments, IGOs and NGOs during the preceding month.
The Human Security Gateway is a rapidly expanding searchable online database of human security-related reports, journal articles, major news stories and fact sheets.
Content is drawn from the websites of research institutes, journals, IGOs, NGOs and government departments. Gateway staff monitor several hundred mailing lists and listservs and over 1,200 websites. Resources are categorized by theme (for example, peace operations, refugees, small arms, health etc.), region and resource type.
Customized content updates are available via email and RSS.
In addition to the conflict itself, the Monitor focuses on development, health, displacement, governance, gender, small arms, landmines, human rights, transitional justice and other human security-related issues. The Monitor provides links to academic articles and reports, as well as key documents, organizations, and data.
